Kris Delmhorst has been a stalwart on the Boston folk scene for at least the past 15 years, and a welcome guest at FECH several times. She has released at least five albums under her own name, ranging from Appetite in 1998 through last year’s album of acoustic covers of songs by the iconic 70s rock band, The Cars. In between, her album Strange Conversation set classic poetry by the likes of Robert Browning to her own musical arrangements, and Shotgun Singer is still a great record for winter cabin fever. Quiet, introspective, loving. She is also part of the trio Redbird, with Peter Mulvey and her husband Jeffrey Foucault.
